I’ve had trouble with the law. Will businesses even want to hire me?

HAP has partnerships with businesses and employers that are willing to take second chances for people like you, because they know how important it is to have second chances. Having a record will not affect the level of services provided by HAP.

How long does this program run?

Program duration may go from six months to a year, dependent on your goals and the training desired.

Do I have to go back to school to get a job?

HAP understands that some of the highest-paying jobs do not always require a college degree. Having a high school diploma or a GED will increase those opportunities. However, being out of school will not affect the level of service you receive from HAP.

What kind of jobs can I get after completing this program?

Our career training currently offers three main industry/sector focuses designed to teach clients valuable, marketable skills that will help them find good paying, career-level jobs. They are:

  • Construction
  • Healthcare
  • IT and Technology

Does HAP help me with job placement after this program?

Yes, HAP and its partnerships aim to help place youth in jobs after they successfully complete their training and apprenticeship.
