- Governor Walz, Lieutenant Governor Flanagan, and the Governor’s Office encourage individuals with criminal records to apply for a pardon. If you, or anyone in your community, plans to apply for a pardon, please do so by June 1, 2020. That is the final day that the Board of Pardons can accept applications for consideration at the fall 2020 meeting. A link to the application can be found here.

- The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has translated informational materials related to public charge rules. Earlier this year, DHS distributed an informational flyer about the public charge rule which provides contacts for free and confidential legal advice. DHS has recently translated the flyer into Hmong, Karen, Somali, and Spanish.
