Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)

HAP is committed to helping our clients connect to job opportunities that will help them build towards a career that can provide for themselves and their families. We offer an array of services, including employment placement services through MFIP. Our focus is the Hmong, Karen, Somali, Bhutanese and larger refugee and immigrant communities in the Twin Cities metro area.

Our program is represented by a diverse and experienced staff who are culturally sensitive to client needs and challenges. This unique model has been recognized by the State of Minnesota for its ability to address the employment needs of thousands of refugees and recently arrived immigrants.

Career Success Class

HAP’s Career Success classes are designed to educate and empower our clients to succeed on their job-seeking journey. Each two-hour session covers resume writing, interview tips and techniques, employment resources, skills, and more! Classes run Tuesdays from 10:00am–2:00pm and Thursdays from 6:00pm–8:00pm.
