Meet Morgan: A HAP English Instructor

We would like to introduce you to Morgan Hightower, one of HAP’s ELL (English Language Learners) Instructors for our Adult Basic Education (ABE) program. Morgan teaches basic skills and English to new refugees and immigrants.

“The thing I enjoy most about teaching ELL and ABE to new refugees and immigrants,” Morgan shared, “is the a-ha moment when a student lights up and understands what I’m teaching. Teaching ELL and ABE to me means helping refugees adapt to their new lives in the United States and giving them tools they can use in their daily lives.”
