HAP RECEIVES $800,000 COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GRANT
Hmong American Partnership has been selected to receive $800,000 from the Community and Economic Development Grant for their Fueling the Economy Project.
This grant is designed to provide employment opportunities for 40 positions on the East Side of Saint Paul. It will help with current unemployment issues and poverty rates. Minnesota State Representative Betty McCollum has been advocating for this level of federal funding in order to help out the community have a secure economic future.
