HAP TAKES ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WITH DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE GRANT
Hmong American Partnership has been awarded a federal grant through the Department of Justice to address the issue of Domestic Violence through the Hmong and Southeast Asian Communities. This grant of $599,624 will help expand services to victims of domestic violence. This will also help strengthen the direct services to victims many different client services such as housing, legal services, and even employment services.
This will help encourage women of color to seek support services and overcome obstacles such as language barriers, poor education, poverty, and access.
